Sweet Lemon Chicken Recipe







Preparation time: 15 minutes 30 minutes marinating
Total cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:

1 egg, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 / 4 tsp grated ginger
500 g (one pound) chicken, cut into thin strips
3 tablespoons oil

Lemon sauce
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 1 / 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 / 4 cup (185 ml / 6 dl.) Chicken
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon dry sherry

Directions:

1st Combine egg white, cornstarch, salt and ginger in a bowl. Add all the chicken and stir to coat with marinade. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

2nd Heat oil in wok, swirling gently coat the sides. Drain all the chicken, discard marinade and stir-fry until thoroughly cooked, but not really brown, remove from wok.

Third For the lemon sauce and mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water into smooth paste. Add to wok with sauce, remaining ingredients. Stir and cook for about 1 minute or so. Return all the chicken in the wok and stir to coat all the sauce. You can serve immediately.

Note:

1st Cut chicken breasts into thin strips on the diagonal of all - tend to stick together better.

2nd Drain chicken from marinade all and stir until it is well cooked but not brown.

Third Mix all the cornstarch and water until the paste and add to sauce pan with other ingredients.
