How to Cook Rump Steak









Rump steak (steak or round) is the meat that is cut, literally, from Serbia and Montenegro) of the cow. If you think this is probably a tough cut of meat, and you're right. On the other hand, it is very tasty.

The question is, how can we cook some of that intensity - or at least avoid adding to the rigidity of the drying out - so we can enjoy a taste of the excellent rump steak?

The best way to cook rump steak is the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia or grill it. The best way is to marinate for the first time, then fry or grill it. Here I give you one recipe for each method:

Rump Steak Grilled

Components

4 rump steaks thin pieces

1 / 4 cup butter

Trends

1. Heat the butter in a frying pan until very hot. Add steaks (cook and one or two at a time, depending on the size of pan).

2. Turn the meat often while cooking for 8 to 10 minutes.

3. Steaks service quickly, while still extremely hot.

Grilled Marinated Rump Steak

Components

4 rump steaks thin pieces

1 / 2 cup red wine (Cabernet GBP)

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, chopped

2 teaspoons canola oil or other cooking oil

Trends

1. Place steaks in a large pan and shallow (non-corrosive only!)

2. Mix together wine, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and garlic. Pour over steaks.

3. Cover the pan closely with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for a period of not less than 4 hours and preferably overnight.

4. Heat oil in a frying pan until very hot.

5. Grill steaks for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness. Add some of the liquid remaining marinade pan and let it bubble before removing from heat.

6. Steaks spanking service quickly, while still extremely hot.
