Creamy Broccoli Soup









My wife and I love soup ... or should I say a good soup. " I love a good soup, but I just can not become a bland, tasteless soup. Enter, my lovely and easy creamy broccoli soup.

One would expect this delicious broccoli soup is a gourmet restaurant. It is not only delicious but has a beautiful presentation. And it's so easy!

6 portions

1-1/2 pounds broccoli

1st Clean broccoli and cut stems and flowers in 1 / 2 inch pieces. If the stalks are thick, cut in half. Set broccoli aside.

3 / 8 tablespoons olive oil (regular, not extra virgin)

1-1/2 teaspoons minced garlic

2nd Heat oil in a frying pan and fry garlic without browning. Cooking is too much, give your soup a harsh taste.

3 / 8 cup Orzo pasta (the little ones that look like rice)

2-1/4 cups chicken broth (low salt, if canned)

3 / 8 cup cream (use milk if you wish)

1-1/2 teaspoons lemon pepper

3rd Add broccoli to saucepan and keep aside for about 1 minute, stirring constantly.

4th Add the above ingredients in a saucepan and all for about 15 minutes, or until the broccoli and cook Orzo pasta cooked.

Put the soup into bowls.

5th For garnish, sprinkle paprika around the edge of a small soup bowl on top, then place a sprig of parsley on the top half of the soup.

This is a beautiful presentation that you will be proud to serve for any business. Boil some good baked or fried chicken (my favorite ... oh it will not hurt here and there), throw a nice potato dish and start the dinner with the soup. You can not go wrong.
